Shared App

As someone who has roommates, I wanted to build something that would not only help us live in harmony, but provide an experience where individuals can find a peaceful, clean, and harmonious environment to live in. Shared is a concept design app that eases logistical conflicts between roommates. It is designed to manage the main logistical details of living together such as shared expenses, bills, chores, shared calendar and more. After months of in-depth research with roommates and study of the market, I established that our main pain points are as follows. Frustration with bills and sending money, lack of communication about schedules and chores not being done. There was also an overall lingering caution around having uncomfortable conversations pertaining to those pain points. With these problems in mind, I was then able to create Shared. Stylistically Syne is a modern geometric typeface, an exploration of atypical weights and styles, making it friendly and welcoming. Matched with a muted calming blue color palette with splashes of vibrant orange. Together with rounded assets, they work together to evoke a feeling of inclusivity and approachability. 41 screens 428x926 px 2022
