Album Box Set
This collection is to honor FKA Twigs’ strength a year after filing the lawsuit against her abuser; to highlight her incredible talent as an artist and to show that she is more than what she has been through. I spent several months designing this three album box set paired with a catalog. I wanted to reflect her experimentation with art, sound and feeling. Her genres range from r&b, electronic, house, artpop, trip hop and beyond. Domaine Display and Aktiv Grotesk are manipulated in forms beyond readability, to reflect how Twigs experiments with the structure and tangibility of her art. Weeks of experimentation went into creating many of the textures seen throughout, both analogue and digital. Image manipulation of Twigs herself is meant to honor her style, creativity and strength as an artist, woman and survivor. 2022.
